Pastor Gradieu Kisala

In the year 2014, at the tender age of 13, due to negative peer pressure, I was introduced to weed and alcohol by my dorm mate in school. I didn’t know that something I was only “trying” was going to become a habit that would require a miracle to snap out of. It became a day to day consumption for me. I even was mostly drunk or high when I went to class in the morning so this greatly affected my academics. From a top student, my grades dropped drastically and I even started skipping some classes to go smoke with my friends. Deep down in my heart, these substances became my go to in order to have confidence, temporary happiness and satisfaction. Also as someone who struggled to make friends in school, it was easier to befriend those who smoked and drank.
